    $2billion on a company thats made one game sorry but this is bad i mean why not spend $2billion on some new studios like sony did with naughty dogs etc we need big games not a game

    MS is not going to purchase Mojang or 4J. Rumor is not the word... Troll speculation,,,,

    Hope not. Sorry but I don't want the PC version completely ruined by Microsoft because if acquired that's goodbye to all free updates/build and hello micro transactions. There would be literally no reason to purchase Mojang unless they wanted to forced micros
    into Minecraft but hey, who doesn't want to pay $20 for a stack of diamond.

    Saw this all over Twitter last night.

    HUGE if true but I somehow think the rumour mill is spinning out of control.

    IGN is not Mojang or Microsoft. IGN can make up some of their stuff just to get some attention. I'd rely directly from official Microsoft or Mojang/4J sources. Yes Mojang/4J is FAMOUS for Minecraft. Minecraft came out last gen first on Xbox (early/mid 2012)
    compared to the last gen competition (December last year).

    Well, this would be great news for sure. Although it is just rumors. As it is another exclusive studio. While Minecraft is wildly popular, their Resume is not worth 2 Billion in my opinion. 1 game, that many people enjoyed.

    But honestly I doubt it will happen
