Microsoft, Thank you for saving my marriage

OK, so that's a bit of a stretch, I doubt my marriage would fall apart without an xbox but here's the truth to the statement.

After ten years and have kids my wife and I. .. well.. we're erty damned comfortable and there's not much we havnt tried or done to keep things interesting in our relationship . Things aren't and weren't BAD but we definitely had found we were lacking in the
dating department... we weren't really doing much together. with kids and her job sometimes it's hard to find the time.

Recently however I surprised my wife wit her own xbox. Mainly because I was tired of fighting with her over the xbox when she wanted to play unraveled or xcom, whatever. As it turns out we rrally enjoy playing together... like seriously, she's picked up
battlefield. Battlefront, Titan fall 2 and even subscribed to access just so we would have more to play together. It's really wierd but after twn years were all of a sudden experiencing this new thing together and it has been AMAZING! I look forward to our
nights we can game ( between kids and work we only get a few hours in ever few nights) as much (if not more) than I looked forward to our dates when we're were just a new couple. We've found a whole new hobby to bind over and let's be honest, who doesn't get
STOKED TO have their wife be the one to insist we fire up Battlefield and shoot some silly m'aafackers.

THANK YOU MICROSOFT!!! You've breathed new life into an old relationship and I couldn't be happier about it!

Finally! Somebody who's happy with their purchase and not shouting down Microsoft. Maybe it's just me, but it becomes tiresome if not deflating to regularly check these boards only to find another person (or entity, as a lot of these aggrieved posters turn
tail and run without even bothering to check their replies) has something to complain about.

Ballparkoyster2, that's a really good outcome for your marriage! Relationships can be hard and complicated at the best of times, and when you've got kids and work commitments and other daily pressures to contend with, I don't doubt that gaming can offer
a much-needed break. It's a highly pleasurable pastime that can be as inclusive or exclusive as you desire. My only word of advice is to be careful your wife doesn't become TOO dependent on the new love of her life - because Xbox may ultimately come between
you! But that's my inner defeatist talking. Keep it real people, and go forth and *multiplay*
