Discus and support Microsoft support's response in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I have just been to the Support tab (by using the drop down box where it says "discussion" - where I posted about connection impossible earlier today....     Microsoft support's response


    I have just been to the Support tab (by using the drop down box where it says "discussion" - where I posted about connection impossible earlier today. And there is a response - of sorts - from Microsoft Bingo.

    It wasn't there earlier, though seems now to be pinned to the top and says is 7 days old.

    Basically it gives the usual "troubleshooting guide" and doesn't address current issues at all.

    I responded to explain this (by PM)

    Maybe others could also reply?

    My account was compromised by a hacker exactly one week ago, the hacker updated all my security info and replaced it with his own, including 2 step verification. The representative I spoke to said he's sent my case to the "Advocacy Team" for investigation
    and that I'd receive an email within 3 days. I wait 3 days and receive no email so I contact again requesting a status update, to see how the process with my account is coming along. Representative told me he'd contact me again within 72 hours. 72 Hours later,
    I haven't been contacted, I haven't received any emails, and I'm starting to have my doubts. I know it seems like I'm impatient and I may be, but literally since the day my account was hacked, that was the last time I turned on my xbox and I'm coming to think
    that if I can't get my account back, I have no use in an xbox anymore, I have no desire to make a new account and start over. I've had my account for a good 10 years (Played since 2008, joined xbox live in 2012) and If all of that is just taken from me in
    an instant and I can't get it back, that might be the end of me and xbox honestly, It may sound dramatic, but, I've invested so much time, and better yet MONEY into the account, from buying and pre-ordering triple A games to gamertag changes and avatar items,
    and I'm not doing it again. So. Ill wait another few days, maybe a week. If I don't have it back by then, Ill be making a trip to gamestop or there might be a new ebay listing.

    Support locks threads because it is faster for them to see a new thread and respond to you there instead of replying in an old thread. You cannot post in a locked thread. You will have to make a new one.

    You can request a call back or chat with support at http://support.xbox.com/contact-us If you don't see those options, change your category/topic until you do. Billing & Subscriptions and "I don't recognize a charge" usually works for me.
