Customer service with Microsoft is absolutely horrible it’s a complete circle to try an talk to anyone real an will continue to loop you back to a machine. Only way I was able to talk to anyone was through email in which I was trying to return a game that I bought digitally. To start off I’ve had an account with Xbox for over 10 years always had gold an just recently started paying for ultimate. Bought a game recently that I played for a few hours an decided it was definitely not my thing so I applied for a return, I was then denied an so everything then started going downhill from there. Emailed stated I was denied due to that fact that I played the game so I went to the return page to read all the requirements an it states it eligibility for returns include: within two weeks purchase, not a significant amount of play, an whether or not the account has been abusing returns an that it includes the ability to return digital content based of those requirements. I can’t think of a time I’ve actually returned something in the last 10 years I’ve been with Microsoft, I was within the two week return an I had very little amount of gameplay so I then emailed back an stated the following which I was sent back the most bland emails stating sorry no returns on digital content which is obviously not true so I’ve now cancelled my Xbox gold an my ultimate renewal an as soon as that runs out I’ll be moving to pc or PlayStation. So recap they lost a customer who spent 1000s$ Over the last 10yrs with this company over a 51$ return.

Hi!

I'm not sure for which section you would want to contact Microsoft for so:

1. To contact Xbox support you can go to support.xbox.com > contact us > when you select your preferred selection for your problem choose to not talk to a virtual agent and then select "Chat with Xbox Support" at the end.

2. To contact Microsoft support for anything none-Xbox related go to support.microsoft.com and select "Ask the virtual agent" (this is a bot) while chatting to the virtual agent type in "I need to speak to a real person" which then the bot will reply "Tell
me what you need help with so I can find the right person" so type in the problem you are having and let it connect you to a real support agent.
