    Xbox account sending a confirmation email to an email that no longer exists. No microsoft team member has helped. Over the phone just leads to automation that gives steps that just leads us in circles. Filled out a form and it also refuses to continue to a human being and is also leading us in circles with steps that dont work

    We tried all of that. I talked to a "specialist" in a text chat and he led us through all the same steps we've already done. It always resulted in a huge form to fill out with account info and xbox console ID and tons of other info. We have filled that form out every single day for 36 days now. The form keeps sending an email coming back saying "insufficient information to verify your identity to recover your account"

    “Information provided was not sufficient for us to validate your account ownership”

    I have tons of screenshots of the conversation I've had with someone named Bryan in specialist support.

    Every single step leads us to the same form. He cannot access the email that the confirmation code is going to because it's an icloud email that was deleted YEARS ago and CANNOT be recovered AT ALL. We need to change that email but we need the confirmation code to do so....which is being sent to the email we need to change.

    To do that. We need to fill out a form to recover the account and verify identity. And the form email reply is saying “Information provided was not sufficient for us to validate your account ownership”

    He has all the correct emails and passwords. He just doesn't have access to an email that DOES NOT EXIST and needs to be changed because the identity confirmation email is going to the email that doesn't exist.

    To change the email that doesn't exist, he has to fill out a form that repeatedly tells him the correct info is incorrect (tons of security questions), and that he needs to repeatedly fill out the form that hasn't worked for months.

    Either someone needs to tell us how to get this form to work. Or someone needs to change the recovery email for him. Or someone needs to SIMPLY TELL HIM THE RECOVERY NUMBER

    But I believe that there must be some alternative so that you can talk to someone from support, it is not possible to only have a bot on the phone.

    Yes but that's all that's left, there's no alternative, it's either that or call Microsoft support.

    All it does is send us to the same form that doesn't work and keep telling us to fill out a form that doesn't work. We've contacted everyone we can and no one has any other info.

    It says go to website for support instead.
