    Microsoft Support has not gotten back to me regarding my microsoft account's...


    I was foolish one day and fell for a scam on discord where I gave my Minecraft account name and email to a discord "Minecraft account verification" bot and then got a verification email (which didn't say anything about providing access to my account, just "verification") I put in the verification code and the bot changed the password of the account and transferred the data to another email address. I instantly went to the Xbox and Microsoft Live specialist chatroom, and they directed me to fill out a page, and it said that I didn't give enough information. I finally got to a point where I got an account escalation request email from the Microsoft account safety team (*** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***

    I sent the email on Sunday, May 25th, and have yet to receive a response to this day (Monday, June 9th). I messaged them again 4 days ago on the 5th to follow up, which was 11 days or 7 business days since the email where they said it would be reviewed within 5. As of today, it has been 9 business days since the email.

    What steps should I take to get my account back? I have a lot of games, purchases, and other things tied to the account, which I need back.

    I'm not sure why it's so difficult to get the account back. It is clear it got hacked because it was under one email and IP address for the past 5 or 6 years, and then got changed to another email and was used by that account in a completely new location. I am willing to, again, send any information needed but it is ridiculous that I'm getting ignored.

    We have no ability to talk to Support, or have anything to do with your account or money. You would have to contact them for an update

    I've asked Microsoft some questions and haven't gotten a response for over a week

    To make a long story short, I was trying to log into my Microsoft account a month or so back and it kept telling me that the account didn't exist, so I assumed it got hacked. After talking to Microsoft support about it, they emailed me back saying that they can confirm that the account was hacked and that they would try their best to get it back. I waited a bit before recontacting their support team, which after another week I got told that they couldn't get the account anymore so they had to shut it down, however one of the support service people told me that there was a chance to save my xbox account, but not my actual Microsoft account (the files and such), which was fine, so I recontacted their support team and it has been well over a week since I have asked them about this and have gotten no response.

    I have spoken to Minecraft support and all they can tell me is the same, that the playstation has to be relinked to the same Microsoft account and they have directed me back to Microsoft to get support.

    Since my Microsoft account has been deleted permanently, I'm assuming this now means I can never login to Minecraft on my playstation ever again?
