Microsoft Support cannot help me, and i cannot download games now.

Hello, this time the error occurred at 100%, and the error code is 0x80070005 and I was trying to download Dragon Quest XI

Hello, trying those to fix the issue did not resolve the issue. Is there anything in particular that could cause this issue only to 1 of my 4 hard drives? A formatting issue or something? It works fine for everything else, its just the Microsoft Store/Xbox app that cause issues

Thanks for getting back to me! And are you trying to download games via the Xbox app through Game Pass or directly from the Microsoft Store?

If you are trying to download the games through Game Pass, then this is a known issue that our devs are working on. I would recommend that you download the games from the Microsoft Store (you can still get them for free, the store registers your Game Pass subscription) instead of the Xbox app until this is resolved.

If you are downloading the games from the Microsoft Store and this error is occurring, then I recommend that you visit the site below and follow some of the steps provided to resolve your issue. This site isn't from Microsoft or Microsoft-sponsored, but the information on it is great and would have been what I would recommend you do anyways.

Prior to troubleshooting, can you please provide me with the entire error code number instead of the last 4 digits? As you can imagine, there are thousands of error codes and there are many that end in 0005 – so understanding exactly the one you are encountering makes a difference.

Additionally, another colleague of mine said that reformatting your drive so that it's formatted to NTFS may help. He also added that you could try going into your PC settings and go to System > Storage and select to install apps natively to the drive.
