    Microsoft Store / Xbox work maybe 2% of launches.


    I've had significant issues using either the Microsoft store or Xbox app to do well.. anything. Either app runs incredibly slowly - and attempting to install anything on them generally leads them to completely crash or give an error or just stall out. I've reinstalled, reset, and followed every guide. Nothing has worked for at least a week.

    Frankly, considering I'm using a monthly subscription service - at this point I'm considering just bailing out entirely and going back to steam. All installs give me Error 0000001.

    This was not an issue 2 weeks ago.

    Hello there, to make sure I've read you right, you're having issues with the Microsoft Store and Xbox app on PC, right?

    I'm going to provide quite a few options for troubleshooting; if none of the below works, I'm going to need more information: like which Windows OS you're on, what computer model you have or what the hardware is in it, and if there is otherwise any problem connecting to your account if you try logging in from elsewhere.

    Troubleshooting options:

    First is attempting to troubleshoot just the apps themselves. For both the Microsoft Store and the Xbox app, please follow the steps carefully outlined in our article on repairing applications and programs in Windows. If you have already tried this, it's fine to let me know. I only suggest it from the basis of not knowing exactly what you have tried (you described it in very broad terms).

    Second is using System File Checker to make sure that Windows itself has all the right files to run correctly. You'll want to make sure you back up your files, as always. System File Checker should be able to fix Windows OS files without needing to reset or reinstall Windows. Again, if you have already tried this, it's fine to just confirm that in your reply.

    We found support articles with similar error code you were having. This error code commonly prompt when there is an issue to the computer itself or else the apps you were running. We know you have tried to perform troubleshooting to fix the issue. In any case these links below will not be able to provide resolution. Please provide us details on few questions asked after the list of links.

    1. May we know the OS and build of your Windows device? Is the device updated?
    2. In downloading apps (not games) in Microsoft Store, will you be having issues?
    3. Have you tried to disabling antivirus, antimalware, VPN, firewall and PC Optimizer installed in your PC during installation of apps?
    4. After reinstallation/repair of the apps that is having issues, may we know if you have reinstalled gaming services?
    5. Will the issue persist on new local user account of your device?

    ARK: Survival Evolved on Game Pass PC - Xbox Live Login Issues

    A fix that worked for me is this:

    1: close out of the game

    2: sign out of the microsoft store

    3: restart your computer

    4: log back into the microsoft store

    5: with the store still open, go to the ARK store page and launch the game from there

    this worked for me and many others who were having this issue, hopefully it fixes it for you too
