    Microsoft store won't store


    When I go on the Microsoft store on the xbox one it always says 'Microsoft store has taken too long to start'. My games also used to do this so I had to transfer them all to an external hard drive plugged into my xbox but I can't do this with the store.

    Hi there Matt,

    Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox Forums. I understand there is an issue with launching the Microsoft Store. I recommend trying a
    power cycle
    of the console.

    If the problem persists, try doing a soft factory reset of the console,
    Reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

    Try this out and let us know the results.

    The microsoft store won't load

    Please check if there are any updates needed:

    1. Make sure that your console is connected to the internet, and then press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select Profile & system> Settings > System > Updates.
    3. Under Updates, you’ll see:
      • Console update available. Select this to begin your update, or
      • No console update available. This means your console is up to date.
    If the console is already updated, try to turn off the console and remove the power cord; wait for 1 to 2 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the console!

    If the issue persists, I would recommend trying the troubleshooting steps below:

    Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear

    Then select System > Settings > devices and streaming > blue ray > persistent storage > clear three times > restart console.

    If the issue persists, try to soft reset your console!
