    Microsoft Store wont install on a drive


    To Microsoft

    had to reinstall Windows cause an update from windows F my Windows which io had to completely reinstall windows 4 times because it kept breaking, now trying to reinstall xbox games on a folder in a set drive with ample space using the same account that
    I've always used with windows, not a different account as Microsoft app is trying to say, this behaviour from windows demanding i delete everything of a drive is completely unreasonable and in fact having to re-down load 700GB plus of games when i a have
    a cap is bullying behaviour from Microsoft, why must all programs on a drive be wiped before it'll install, is also complete unreasonable and also bullying behaviour a terabyte to be wiped, like this isn't 1970, get your act together not everyone has unlimited
    speed or data even in todays age

    no options no nothing if this isn't resolved with a reasonable response i will be asking for a refund on all my Microsoft games.

    Forza Horizon 5 is not able to download to an external drive.

    All of my Microsoft and Xbox games are downloaded on my external drive including the previous Horizon, which is Forza Horizon 4. I changed where new apps are stored when downloaded from the Microsoft store to my external drive but it still wont download Forza Horizon 5 to my external drive. On the Xbox app it wont show my external drive as an option to download to. I am able to download any game from the Microsoft store and Xbox app to my external drive except Forza Horizon 5.

    Microsoft wont release an update like that. They will make you pay for the games on demand version if there is one available. The best solution would be to borrow the game from a friend and install the game to your hard drive which would allow your game
    to run. The next option would be to find a local store buy the game used and install it, then quickly return the game for store credit or a full refund, dependent on the stores policy

    What is the local saved games

    Local saved games are the saves stored on your consoles hard drive.

    Deleting them wont affect your installed games or online saves.

    Try Going the Microsoft Store and Download it from there. Sometimes it wont show up in the Ready to Install.
