Microsoft store will not let me download Minecraft Launcher

I keep getting the error code: Minecraft Launcher is currently not available in your account. Make sure you are signed in to the Microsoft Store and try again. Here's the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001

Even though I am signed in to the Microsoft account that I used to buy Minecraft with?

Hi. It won't let me download the launcher on minecraft.net. I start the download but after just seconds it stops refers me to the microsoft store. And when i try to downlaod minecraft via the microsoft store it doesn't work either. What can I do?

Thank you for the update. Kindly repair and reset the Minecraft Launcher by following the steps below:

Settings > Apps & Features > Apps > Search for Minecraft Launcher > Advanced Options > Repair > Reset.

Restart the PC.

Hi i did what you said but now the launcher itself will not open and there's no error code or anything this time.

Hi EC_884, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Seems like it's not recognizing the license for Minecraft Launcher but not with the game Minecraft itself.

Make sure that you have the license for Minecraft Launcher by clicking "Get" in this link and make sure that you're signed in under the correct account as well: https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/store/minecraf...

Once done, sign out both on Microsoft Store App as well as Xbox App then restart your PC before signing back in then downloading the Minecraft Launcher from Microsoft Store or Xbox App.

There are two ways to install Minecraft Launcher, first is through Microsoft Store (Minecraft Launcher) and second is through Minecraft website (Download Minecraft & Server Software | Minecraft). Since you have issues with Minecraft Launcher, we recommend your try to uninstall the launchers you have installed and make sure you are using the correct account on Microsoft Store.

Then, visit Minecraft website to check your account that should show no Buy now option for any of the game versions of Minecraft (Login | Minecraft).

Next, try to install the Minecraft Launcher from the Microsoft Store and see if issue persist.

The last resort is to download the launcher and install it from Minecraft website. See if issue persist for the game.
