Microsoft Store shows a message: "This app will not work on your device"

I've just reinstalled my Windows 10 due to an HD problem. I'm using a clean new installation so I'm restalling all the applcations.

I've tried to reinstall Minecraft for Windows 10 (Pocket Edition). I can find the app in my Microsoft Store history but the "Install" link is not avaliable and there is message like this: "This app will not work on your device". Or in Portuguese "Este aplicativo
não funcionará no seu dispositivo".

I would like to contact Microsoft Support and I'm not sure I am in the correct forum.

I would appreciate any help to get in contact with support team.

MSFT STORE: Download 3 Apps= $25 Gift Card

Just called my local MSFT Store to confirm that its legit and it is.

You must download 3 Microsoft Apps to your phone (I'm guessing tablets also work) and bring in your device and show them that you have the 3 apps downloaded and in return you receive a giftcard for $25 for the Microsoft Store (which you can then purchase games or points for the Digital Marketplace).

According to my store (San Diego) it ends today (10/18).

Were you able to try the reinstall of the app? Let's also try signing out of the Xbox App on your device along with the Microsoft store app as well. Once done, let's perform a full power cycle of your device then sign back into the apps. After that, please
let us know if that same error shows up for you.

installed the latest drivers on your Windows 10 PC.

If yo do that, are you then able to launch the game. Please keep us updated on what you're experiencing there.

The device may not be showing on the app due to it not being listed on your Microsoft Account

You need to add a device to your Microsoft account before it's listed in your devices. Here's how you can add a device:

Sign in to your Microsoft account on an Xbox or PC.
Download an app or game from the Microsoft Store .
Go to account.microsoft.com/devices, select Don't see your device?, then follow the instructions.
On an iOS device: Download Microsoft Edge from the Apple App Store and sign in with your Microsoft account.
On an Android device: Download Microsoft Edge, Microsoft Launcher, or Your Phone Companion from the Google Play Store and sign in with your Microsoft account.
MacOS devices can't be added at this time.

Hello! Thank you so much for your answer. I have, in fact, the Microsoft Store App installed on my PC but the game app doesn't show at the store itself.

When I try to download the game app through the official Microsoft website it gives the option to acquire it ("Install in your devices"), so I click in there and then asks me where do I want to install it, of course I select the name of my PC, "Install now"
and it gives me this message:

Thank you!

We’re attempting to install on your selected device(s).

I click "Ok" but nothing happens. I don't know what else to do.

Please double-check if that person is still blocked. If so, it could be that they sent the message before you blocked the gamer.

If it does, you can try these steps and see if that will fix the issue.

Sign Out of Your Accounts (Xbox App and Microsoft Store App):

Open the Microsoft Store by pressing Windows Key + S, typing Microsoft Store, and selecting App Settings.

Click on Repair and then Reset the app.

Repeat the same process for the Xbox App.

Restart Your Device:

After repairing and resetting both apps, restart your device.

Sign back into both the Xbox App and the Microsoft Store using the same email.

Check if this resolves the issue. Thank you!

I found a small workaround for this problem that worked for me and may work for you.

One: make your Microsoft store account the same as your Xbox account

Two: have the Microsoft store & Xbox app open

Three: find the game on the Microsoft store that you want and click install

notice: it will show installing in the store and on the Xbox app

note: have to have a game pass
