Microsoft Store Says I Am Not Online - BUT I AM?!

So my boyfriend and I have been trying for days to play together on our shared Ark: Survival Evolved server and havent been able to, we assumed with Ark’s constant bugs and mishaps that it was maybe a game bug itself but NOW Microsoft store and a lot of
the services just aren’t working. We cannot invite each other or anyone else to games, the “Invite To Game” button on all of my friends’ profiles are grayed out. We also cannot use the “Join Game” either with anyone. When I open the Microsoft Store on his
PC or my XBox (doesnt matter the device or the account we use on either also) it gives us an error message saying “Try That Again - Page Could Not Be Loaded” and gives us the option to refresh the page which only takes us back to the same thing. Before, we’ve
also gotten error messages of “Microsoft Store Is Offline - It looks like you’re not connected to the internet”. But I am clearly online as I can play games with random people, I just cannot invite any of my friends!!!! I have tested the network connection
and everything says it is fine. I am going insane!!

Sounds like some of the permissions for your account might be messed up. In the Account section of your Settings, there's an area that manages the permissions your account has, such as inviting friends, talking in party chats, who can see your real name,
and so on. I'd recommend taking a look there to see if the permissions are the way they're supposed to be.

Your profile shows you as gold. It is probably a sync error with the server. Try deleting your profile (profile only), clear system cache, reboot your system, and download your profile again. After that it should show you as gold.

That error indicates that your account is a child account. You will need to have the parent account make the purchase on the Xbox One console and use
the Home console feature to share the game with your account. If you would like the game on your account, you will need to purchase it through an Xbox 360 console.
