    Microsoft Store Roblox Voice Chat?


    Unfortunately, there seems to be a glitch that keeps players from voice chatting on the Microsoft version of Roblox.

    I usually use roblox through the website, but due to lag issues I've switched to the Microsoft desktop version.

    I've noticed that voice chat doesn't seem to exist in the Microsoft version. The settings are there to enable it but when I join a game the icon doesn't even show up.

    Thinking this was an issue on my end, I looked for solutions online. What I found instead is others going through the same problems.

    I started up the website version again to compare and I was able to voice chat.

    It seems that the Microsoft version doesn't support voice chat. On a smaller note, the shift lock also doesn't work.

    Will this be fixed soon, it seems to be a wide spread problem that doesn't have a lot of attention.

    Hello Jesse,I'm actually a player of Microsoft Store Roblox.

    When i play on servers that accept voice chat i can't active my microphone or can't hear people but my friends on roblox player can actually do, why can't i use voice chat like them ?

    According to other user, voice chat is not available yet for the Roblox Microsoft Store edition.

    The voice chat feature is only available for select developers for now and nor everyone as at yet. Roblox plans to roll out the feature slowly and in batches.
