    I must warn all the users of Microsoft Community, DO NOT BUY FROM THE MICROSOFT STORE!

    I attempted to buy an Xbox Ultimate Pack from the store. They charged the wrong account under my PayPal, taking the money directly from my bank account. I cancelled the order, was told it was cancelled but it was not. I was shipped the item. I requested
    an RMA and got one. I sent the item back. I called to check the status of my refund after the item arrived back at the Microsoft Return Center. I was told I was already refunded the money two weeks ago. I did not receive the refund, nor did PayPal have any
    record of the refund. I made a told of 11 calls to the Microsoft Customer Service Line. I was put on hold indefinitely and hung up on twice. I never was rude, or raised my voice. I was told three times that I would be refunded the amount owed. When I checked
    back, I was told the refund had "failed" all three times. I still do not have my money back after two weeks of calls.

    Here is the email I sent to the customer service five days ago. I have yet to receive a reply from them.

    I have tried to get my refund from your company, but have not received said refund yet. Here is a breakdown of what I have gone through.



    I bought a Xbox One Ultimate Package on Dec 23,2013. I used PayPal/Bill Me Later. Microsoft took the money, $833.29, out of my PayPal checking instead. I requested a cancellation. I was given the case number, and assured the item was cancelled. The item
    was send to me anyway and all monies were taken out of my account. I was refunded a partial amount of $60.04.



    I returned the items, Return Reference Number:xxxxxxx, and tracked the return to your return center. The items arrived at the return center on 01/03/2014 (UPS Tracking #xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx).



    I have contacted the Microsoft Store phone number on 01/06/14 to verify the items had been returned and that I would receive a refund. I spoke with an associate, that hung up on me. I called back, I was put on hold for 30 min. I called back again, I asked
    for a supervisor. The supervisor, Alex, said my refund would be expedited and I should receive a refund by Wednesday 01/08/2014. He gave me a case number # xxxxxxxxxxx.



    I did not receive my refund. I called back on 01/08/2014. I spoke with Min, and she told me my refund had failed to go through. I escalated the call to supervisor Bryan. Bryan assured me that he would escalate this matter to the Microsoft Escalation Center
    and that I should receive my refund in 2-3 days. He gave me a case number #xxxxxxxxxxxx.



    I have made a total of 8 calls to the Microsoft Store Customer Service line. I do not believe that I will get a refund, as I have been told 3 times that the refund has been put through yet I have not received my refund. I keep getting told the refund is
    “failing” by your customer service reps.



    Please contact me and issue me my refund!

    I cannot agree with the MS store being a rip off, I'm not disputing you have had a problem OP but, I had reason to get a refund from MS, no reason to go into details but, I spoke to a rep on the phone, told them my problem, she put me on hold for a few moments
    an talked to a supervisor, she came back on and advised me I was getting a full refund, and it was in my Paypal account within hours, even though I was told it could take 3 days.

  7. Yikes, I hope everything gets fixed for you soon. I would be on them daily about this. If they don't give your refund soon, I would warn them that you'll report them to the BBB.

    watch the items I PURCHASED WITH CASH I must buy a 9.99 subscription to Xbox Music.Maybe a lawsuit will get someones attention.

    Ive had multiple IAP in 1 google games that I played and noticed that I was charged over 200 cash in one month. I use Bank of America. I never made those purchases and I copyed the transactions and faxed to my bank, then I spoke with them and explained
    what happened. In 4 days I received a full refund. I didnt go to Paypal because they are a waste of time. Even Google is easier than Paypal. But always copy and print the statement and call and speak with your bank and fax them or tell them what happened first.
    Somebody got on my email and used my account online in the game. So I changed everything. If u were hacked I feel sorry for u. If ure bank is investigating which seems odd to me. Should take care of it right away. If u dont recieve a refund in over 5 days
    from ure bank I wouldnt understand. I hope ure not trolling cause microsoft is not the blame.

    The bank has little power over net based transactions. The retailers more or less have to fix the issue. Only problem is finding out who caused the issue.
