    Microsoft store package dependency installer - infinite loop. Can't start Microsoft Flight 2020


    I ran the mandatory update today and now Flight simulator 2020 will not run. Keeps trying to run the

    Microsoft Store Package Discovery Installer. I click on yes (and even as administrator) and then it says This app can't open. I have the digital ownership key showing as installed on my machine and the application purchases on my store account.

    I have tried to uninstall and reinstall twice (yes all 121 GB) and it still gives me the same error.

    Did some research and found this thread. The last post on the thread mentions running MSFS as administrator and they said that resolved their problem and it no longer performed the dependency installer loop. Please let us know if this resolves your issue.

    I have this problem with all my downloads but they still boot-up and run...but not Halo MCC. I uninstalled, reinstalled then it loaded and said I needed to download DLC for every game. I restarted and now Halo is Back to this message

    The trouble shooting thing did not work for me I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and a few days later it said the same thing then when i tried to install the dependency installer it said there was a error. I have no clue what to do about this issue.

    If you open the Microsoft store, click the library tab at the bottom on the left, and find Microsoft flight simulator 2020 on the list and click install
