Microsoft Store on Xbox Live not working

So, a few weeks ago, I noticed that I couldn't install Fortnite from the store, just that clicking the install button did nothing. It was annoying, but I just figured there was a problem with Fortnite and never considered it further.

A couple of days ago, the Disney+ app required an update and linked me to the store, where I found the same problem as I had with fortnite - endless circling logo, no result.

Eventually, these messages come up

Now, in trying to resolve this, I have performed soft resets, hard resets, power cycling, checking the network settings on the console and the router - everything. I even went so far as to buy a brand new Xbox One S just to see if maybe my old console was broken, but no - the problem persists.

Please help I just want to be able to play my games and watch my streaming services lol

Hello there! It definitely sounds like you have a glitch or minor bug happening. You may want to try a soft reset of the console, to do a soft reset just go Settings, All settings, System, Console info, Reset keeping games and app.

Hi! I'm really sorry to keep bugging you, but I have tried all avenues to try and contact a physical person at Xbox or Microsoft and am really not getting anywhere. I even tried the virtual agent and got this

I'm just not having any luck with any course of action here

Is there some kind of direct phone number or email address I can use for a legitimate response?

Unfortunately, the soft reset hasn't worked on either of my consoles. I am wondering if there is a problem with my account which I am unable to see in the various settings pages and options? I really didnt expect to be having these same problems once I switched to a brand new console :/
