Microsoft store keeps signing in wrong xbox account

Got a new pc and put in a my email for Microsoft store went to the Xbox app and realized I used the wrong email so it signed In an old xbox account on the xbox app...I went into the setting and changed my Microsoft store account to the one linked to my main xbox account...but everytime I sign out of the app and try to sign in. It auto signs in my old account still..how do I fix this

I'm sorry that the Xbox app is exhibiting this behavior, I have some tips that may help, however I need you to answer the questions below:

Press Windows+i or click Start Menu > Settings > Accounts > Your Information.

-Is the signed-in account the old one or the one you want the Xbox App to auto-login in?

Press Windows+i or click Start Menu > Settings > Accounts > Email & Accounts.

-Is your old account listed?

-Are you on Windows 10 or Windows 11? What is the version and build?

If the game doesn't appear in the actual account that means it wasn't purchased with it

Maybe you're signed on the wrong Microsoft account.

Please try sign out from both Microsoft store and Xbox app account and let me know how it goes

thx for the help i fixed it, it was my microsoft store account that was signed into with my wrong email

Is it always the same gamertag that shows up when you enter the email address?

Does your computer have an account (like an administrator account) with the email address of this "wrong" account or not? You just signed in on the Microsoft store with it one time?
