    Microsoft Store keeps logging out


    Every single day when I want to open Xbox app on computer it says that they have problem with my account on microsoft store, so I open store and I need to log again, this is very frustating and am really done of it. I am logged with same email on Xbox app and on store.

    For me to better understand the issue, I’d like to ask a few questions:

    • Is your Xbox App and Microsoft Store App using the same Account?
    Based in your description, it seems like your Xbox App and Microsoft Store app is using different account. That was why when you log in to your Xbox App your Microsoft Store keep on logging Off. In this case, both App should have the same Microsoft account. Please sure as well the Xbox App, Microsoft Store app and Gaming services should be up-to-date to avoid issue moving forward.

    Check for Windows and Microsoft Store Updates
    Ensure that your Windows operating system and the Microsoft Store app are fully updated. Sometimes, updates include bug fixes that could resolve login issues.

    For Windows Updates:

    Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
    Click on Check for updates and install any available updates.

    For Microsoft Store Updates:

    Open the Microsoft Store.
    Click on the three dots in the top right corner and select Downloads and updates.
    Click on Get updates to install any available updates.

    Reset Microsoft Store
    Resetting the Microsoft Store can clear out potential corrupt data or cache that may be causing login issues.

    Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features.
    Scroll down to Microsoft Store, click on it, and select Advanced options.
    Click on the Reset button. This will reinstall the app and clear its cache.

    Open the xbox app and log out of your account. Then go to your microsoft store and log out as well.

    Then enter the microsoft store again, and finally also log in to the xbox app.

    If it doesn't work, reinstall the xbox app

    Please advice your friend to log out and then log back into the Microsoft Store app. Search the game using the Microsoft store app and check if there is an install option from there.
