Microsoft store keeps crashing

Hi. My name is Mel and I am an independent advisor. This has happened to me yesterday. I have reported it as a bug to Microsoft so hopefully they'll look at it and fix it. I would suggest you report it too.

By resetting my PC I mean I closed it and then just opened it and I haven't received any code it just crashes and I am on Windows 10.

In this case, please try the following steps and let me know how it goes:

- Go to start > Search for PowerShell > Right click > Run as administrator. Type the following command and press enter:

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

(this command can show you some errors, this is normal, just wait until it finishes)

- Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Microsoft Store > Advanced Options > Repair, then Reset.

- Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Xbox App > Advanced Options > Repair, then Reset.

- Press Windows + R. Type TEMP and press enter. Delete all the files inside this folder. Repeat this step by typing %TEMP% and Prefetch. Delete everything on both folders too.

- Press Windows + R. Type WSRESET and press enter.

- Restart your computer. See if the issue persists and please let me know.

By reset your PC, do you mean restore your operational system?

Are you running Windows 10 or 11 on your computer?
