Microsoft Store issues with Xbox Game Pass

Hey all,

I just bought the xbox game pass. I want to download some pc games but I am unable to see the Xbox Game Pass tab that is supposed to be on the left hand side of the screen. If anyone can help, that'd be great, thanks.

Additional notes:

I am unable to sign in with a personal account(it opens a box but closes instantly if I try to do that) so I have the pass purchased on an edu account, and I am signed in with that.

Also, when I go to the game pass item page in the store, it prompts me to buy it.

I had the same issue, had to open the microsoft store app and update the xbox game pass app

Hi there,

be sure to double check what account is signed in to the Store App.

This needs to be the account on which you have purchased the Game pass subscription.

Also be sure to check the subscription shows at
http://account.microsoft.com/services

If you haven't signed out yest, be sure to try that too (or restart the PC)

Why is it possible to purchase the Xbox version while using the in game interface you are prompted to use in order to purchase the season pass. If this is a known issue, why is there no other way I can purchase the season pass on the Xbox app store or the even the Microsoft store?

Unfortunately there is no issue with Game Pass. I bought the game for it full price in Microsoft Store.
