microsoft store is unusable

I always have issues with my computer, but this one irritates me the most

for some reason microsoft store just refuses to download anything, i have to get an installer and even that often doesnt work.
the downloading is either starting infinitely or the download button just stuck on being grey.
trying to download xbox straight up makes my pc overheat to the point of shutting down
however most apps when they do download just never load.
Sometimes xbox does start the download but its stuck on 1% forever
microsoft store cant even load the main page

i tried everything including reinstalling windows.

I always get 0x80080005 error on downloading anything

if your computer is overheating to the point of shutdown from downloading a file I highly recommend you take it to a repair shop

I redeemed the code on the older pc (10years-old). in the microsoft-store, I am not able to cancel this (unuseful) activation.

It's not an inactive account...its not being used at all.

Microsoft is not a single entity that makes decisions so how can microsoft decide when unused tags are available? Is there a branch of Microsoft who handles this directly? Is there a way to communicate with them? Why are unused tags unavailable to begin
with?

Hi,

You can't buy unused gamertags I'm afraid. You will have to wait until Microsoft release the unused gamertag which they do occasionally. It could be years though.
