Microsoft Store is stuck on US but I live in the UK

Hi this is a great idea!

Sadly it didn't work for me and last I checked the Xbox UK offices are still only offering a virtual bot to assist in any issues which just directs you back to a very basic list of discrepancies that have nothing to do with this particular issue. (apologies
if readers misunderstood what I stated above, support is available, however in the UK it appears to only be accessible through a bot like system with very limited lists of issues such as "I forgot my password", " I want to customise my account", etc.)

*This is purely my experience so I hope others find a way to get it sorted. If you do, please do post about it as I am still lying in wait.

On the contact site, if you're not seeing the options to chat with support or request a call back, change your category/topic. Subscriptions & Billing and "I don't recognize a charge" usually works for me.

Change your country or region in Microsoft Store

Change your region in Windows

When you make your first purchase in the new locale, you'll be prompted to update your billing info.

1. Select Start > Settings > Time & Language > Region.
2. Under Country or region, select your new region.
3. You can switch back to your original region at any time.

Change your country/region on Xbox One
When you make your first purchase in the new region, you'll be prompted to update your billing info.

1. Sign in to your Xbox One console.
2. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
3. Select Settings > All Settings > System > Language & location.
4. Select your new location from the Location list, and then select Restart now.

Troubleshooting issues when changing your region

Its really strange my store purchases are also listed as working in the US store as well (I'm in Canada) but for some reason it works. Have you tried going over to a friends house and trying to buy anything from their computer? I'm just wondering if maybe
the IP address could be conflicting with anything.

But if I go to the same site in a new tab it notes that my location is the UK
