Microsoft store games not downloading

Hello Sheriff, this only happens with this game, or with any other game that tries to download, there may be some reasons for this to happen.

Have you checked if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 21H2, because recently came out the latest update to Windows 10 and 11.

Updates often seen as optional, Microsoft released major fixes this week, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed.

If you haven't updated yet, click the link below, update and then make all subsequent security updates.

Also make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed, it works with the Xbox App.

Hello dand2p, this error is usually related to some Window updates that do not form successfully made, try to follow the procedures below and then check your Windows updates if they are in the 22H2 version.

1 - Type cmd (Command Prompt) in the search bar of the Start menu and then click Run as administrator.

2 - Enter chkdsk /f/x/r/v

Being in use the system will ask if the user wants to check the chosen drive after reboot. Just type S and restart the computer.

This is most likely due to you not having enough space on your xbox. Try deleting some games that you no longer play and than try downloading whatever you are trying to download.

been happening for alot of users now. Not sure if its since its new or some type of glitch. Try from a different source like laptop,tablet,computer, smartphone or anything with an internet browser

If you download a game from Microsoft Store, I Believe it dose not go into steam. If you download a game from steam, it goes into steam. If you download a game from Microsoft Store, a shortcut will be created, or you can pin the game to task bar.
