Microsoft Store, Game I wanted Physically but bought Digitally?

If you just bought it, you can request a refund on the purchase and then purchase the correct item. I don't believe the Microsoft Store sells physical discs anymore.

The games from the Microsoft store are usually comes with a digital license that will be applied to your account. If you really want a physical copy of games, I suggest to check with physical Microsoft stores.

I think this would be a great idea. The thing that still baffles me, though, is that sometimes buying the digital version of the game is significantly more expensive than buying the physical version, even when the physical copy is bought directly
from Microsoft. For example, I bought a physical copy of Diablo 3 from Microsoft when it was $21, would have preferred the digital copy but it was still listed full price at $60. I'm not sure why these imbalances exist, but I would just imagine a large number
of people buying cheaper physical copies, from any store really, just to send them in for cheaper digital copies. Might cause a headache on Microsoft's end. I'd personally love to convert all of my games to digital though.

Great point! I struggle between wanting to support the developers, but paying the same for digital never makes sense to me! It’s the same with digital magazines! I want to support the hard work and content creation, but meet the consumer halfway! </rant>

the money on the profile is all there (500 euros) .. I can buy games on the store easily .. I bought years ago some games packaged by the site microsoft (2017) then I did not buy anything more on the store of physical .. digital only..
