Is it safe to disable it? on another note, my main concern was not being able to launch Destiny 2 but apparently I can do so directly from the Microsoft Store. I mean its no solution but it works. Thank you so much for replying anyways.

Check that W10 is updated correctly. If everything is right, try to reset the app with the "wsreset.exe" command.
