    Microsoft Store can't install the Xbox app with error code: 0x80d06809


    Hi,

    I'm not sure what's going on with the Xbox Game Pass. I can't re-install/ update anything from the Microsoft Store.

    At first, I tried to install a game on the Xbox Game Pass, and it still on 0% download for hours. So I tried to search how to fix it and I've uninstalled and re-installed it again, and it's not working.

    The Microsoft Store still shows the error code: 0x80d06809 and Xboxinstaller shows the same too.

    I'm tired of finding a way to fix it, Could I reset my PC and install new Windows?

    Does anyone have the same problem?

    Tried the app troubleshooter and resetting the store and syncing the app licenses--no luck. What is happening here?

    Is outer wilds (xbox game) a play anywhere game?

    Launch the Microsoft Store app, then search for the outer Wilds. When the page loads, select install (if you own it). It should then start to install. The download is currently spouting an error code, but that could be an issue on Microsoft's end, or it could be a mistake that the game is on the PC store, hence why the error code shows up.

    Point 3 it's Microsoft store app not Xbox app, on the first message you only talk about the Xbox app, but if you have the subscription active you should be able to install the games from the Microsoft store app also, try that sometimes it gives you the error code you need to solve the issues
