    A short while ago Valve released the code for its new source engine. People have discovered within the code various links to the xbox. They have suggested that steam may be coming to xbox live. Here is what i think

    Steam has just released a new streaming service for home networks. The powerful PC in the house can stream to a tablet or basic desktop PC. It can stream power hungry games such as battlefield 4, crysis 3 at very high settings and resolutions (1080p and
    up). These games can then be played on the weaker pc in full high res. The powerful PC does majority of the work.

    This technology is only running on home networks atm and is still in beta, but anything that can be done on a network can be done over the internet.

    My theory, and i hope it is correct, is that microsoft will adopt this technology and use it over xbox live. This will make the xbox one limitless in terms of graphical power and resolutions, as a host PC off site will be doing most of the processing/rendering
    etc. This is the major set back that is holding the xbox one back at the moment in my opinion (and obviously many others as the playstation is running riot).

    The only draw back would be you would need very fast internet. Standard adsl or adsl2 wont cut it.

    I also dont think it will be coming any time soon

    Just a theory. Fingers crossed.

    Problem with steam games

    I bought the games on steam such as dirt 3 & Grand theft auto 4. Is there a way I can carry these games into my microsoft/xbox account?

    Game Pass Games, DLC and modding

    you can purchase the dlc for the windows 10 version if your using the microsoft store one and the dlc is from the microsoft store.

    the steam version is different to the microsoft one, steam allows pure modding and you can only use the steam workshop with the steam version.

    As CptMorgan said, you can't play a microsoft game on steam, or a steam game on microsoft. they are purely two different base games that are not compatible with each other. the Microsoft one is crossplay to Xbox, and the steam one doesnt appear to have
    the same function.
