Microsoft solitaire won't load Windows 10

    Microsoft solitaire won't load Windows 10


    Solitaire was working up until a couple of days ago. Now when I try and start it the splash screen comes up and disappears.

    Check application log and found the following error message:

    Activation of app Microsoft.MicrosoftSolitaireCollection_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App failed with error: The system cannot find the file specified. See the Microsoft-Windows-TWinUI/Operational log for additional information.

    microsoft solitaire collection won't run

    Just purchased new laptop with Windows 10. Was able to play games up until now. Now Microsoft Solitaire Collection won't load from Xbox. Please help.

    The Pyramid game won't load in my Windows 10 Solitaire Collection, although all other games seem fine. I just get the "Loading" page but it never does. Any advice?

    I had exactly the same problem on a Windows 10 machine, but your workaround did the trick. It's curious why the game won't start from the Solitaire Collection, but will do from Microsoft Store. Many, many thanks!
