    Microsoft Solitaire with a one year Premium now showing Ads all the sudden


    On October 21, 2020 when I went to play Microsoft Solitaire on my Windows 10 computer, I started seeing ads. Earlier in that day I did not have ads when I played the game.

    On May 12, 2020, Order number 5275910601 I redeemed a reward for a free year of Microsoft Solitaire. Microsoft Store support has confirmed this.

    I have tried the following troubleshooting to solve the issue:
    I have Updated all my apps in the Microsoft Store
    I have verified that I am signed in on the Xbox Console Companion App
    I have signed out and signed back in on the Xbox Console Companion App
    I have restarted my PC many times
    I have reset the cache (https://www.thewindowsclub.com/reset-windows-store-cache)
    I have run the Diagnostic test (http://aka.ms/diag_apps10)
    I have uninstalled both the Xbox Console Companion App and Microsoft Solitaire app and then re-installed them.
    I have chatted with a Gamer
    I have chatted with Microsoft Rewards Customer Support
    I have chatted with Microsoft Store Support
    I have chatted with a couple other Microsoft Support departments
    AND I KEEP GETTING PASSED FROM ONE SUPPORT DEPARTMENT TO ANOTHER!

    How do I resolve this issue? Who is the correct Support Department to help me resolve this issue?

    TOOOOOOO many inappropriate ADS before and during GAMES !!!

    I bought a one year Premium subscription to Solitaire in June 2015 and now I've upgraded to Windows 10 Microsoft seems to have stolen the remaining 11 months and reverted my account back to standard mode.

    In what games? I see ads on the Solitaire collection as I don't have the premium version, it is annoying but I guess it is how things are now

    To clarify, are you referring to Microsoft Solitaire Premium?

    There would be a charge for that, yes. In the in-game menu, if you select "Upgrade to Premium", the pricing for that will show for you there.
