    I have tried installing and reinstalling microsoft solitaire collection but still it isn't opening.Why is it?

    Solitaire crashing

    Hello I have an HP Pavilion 23 running Windows 8.1. Solitaire was working well until a few days ago. When I try to open it, it shows the opening screen says "Microsoft Solitaire" with the blue background but instead of going to the page with the Daily
    Challenges, etc, it goes back to the Start menu screen. Notably, all other games I have (Mah Jong, Taptiles, Wordament) are working fine. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

    Have you tried the following:

    • Reset Microsoft Solitaire Collection.
    • Run the Windows 10 app troubleshooter.
    • Reset Windows Store cache.
    • Update the Windows system.
    • Update Windows Store apps.

    Solitaire & Casual Games freezes after launched.

    UPDATE!! I rebooted my PC, after the previous installation of Microsoft Mahjong, launched Microsoft Mahjong and opened OK. I launched Solitaire & Casual Games from within Mahjong, and it opened OK! It didn't work before the reboot, but now it did. Thank you!! I already closed and opened Solitaire & Casual Games and it continues working fine.

    Can't get past advertisement to get to game.

    I have the same problem, ad will not load. If I click on the progress bar, a new store window open at the solitaire collection page. I have never been able to access bonus levels because of this. One would think Microsoft would at least make their own ads
    to work properly.

    I'm sorry to see any launching issues with Casual Suite games! If you haven't yet, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the games. That generally fixes these issues.

    However, if that doesn't help out, please post back so that we can look into our next steps together. :)
