Microsoft Solitaire Event Crash

Every time I try to open the "event" in Microsoft Solitaire, the game crashes. This has been happening on and off for a few weeks. I have done all of the trouble-shooting suggestions, including uninstalling the game. PLEASE HELP!!!

Me too. Tried rebooting machine, and uninstalling, then reinstalling MS Solitaire. I can play normal games, and daily challenges, but clicking on that Klondike Event just crashes MS solitaire.

 

On the 2/20 "The Hard Road" event, I was able to play the first game okay, but when I tried to go on, the game crashed and kicked me back to my home screen. I tried restarting game several times, and it wouldn't even let the first game play again before
crashing. Running Windows 10 (latest version) on a Dell Computer.

 

I also have this problem with crashing after playing the first event on the 2/20.

 

Same thing happens to me too but today is the first time it started crashing for me. I tried everything to fix it like you did and that didn't work. I feel your pain

 

Same here, it just started today. Everything works except events!

 

Same thing happened to me tonight. Played first game of event, at completion of game Solitaire crashed. Tried all the fixes I could find. Multiple uninstalls, reboots, cache flushes. Everything else works but the minute I try to load an event
Solitaire crashes.

I tried MANY fixes, and nothing worked. Some days the "event" worked, and some days it didn't. It was very strange! My computer was 5 years old, so I recently got a new laptop and I'm no longer having problems (for now).

 

This is the first time I have experienced this issue. It is the same issue as discussed here. I entered the event and played the first 3 games, upon trying to enter the 4th game the system dropped out of the game and returned to the windows desk top, tried
to re-enter and again it dropped out. checked the apps store and the version I have is the latest on file. this is a problem for premium players, as it drops our overall standing down quite a bit. My total game time was only 17 minutes
