Microsoft Solitaire Collection

While playing the Microsoft Solitaire Collection Daily Challenge I notice when it comes to play the Pyramid portion after about 10 - 20 second into it everything freezes and at the bottom right corner I get a message " Display Drivers has stopped responding
and recovered, Intel (R) HD Graphics Driver for Window 8 (R) stopped responding and has successfully recovered" my issue is that it only pops on while playing this particular game. I have Window 10 ver. 1511 using a Toshiba P75-A7200 all graphics drivers are
up to date with the latest version. I also have this very same issue with CSR racing. Does anybody else have this issue and possible a answer to solve this issue.

I am not using Microsoft Solitaire Premium.

In Microsoft Solitaire Collection there is.

"Settings" Apps & Features" choose Microsoft Solitaire Collection, Advanced Settings then Reset.

I too have the exact same problem except I have it on both a SurfacePro3 and a PC. Yes, I get that error just with Pyramid. It makes it impossible to complete the daily challenge. I downloaded and ran the Intel Driver Update Utility but it refused to
provide a generic driver. I guess we will have to wait till MS gets around to doing something about it.

 

has the forum checked on why if you upgrade to Window 10 and the new Solitaire Collection is suppose to be Window 10 why is it telling me that the Window 8 (R) Display Driver are not responding is the update suppose to change drivers to Window 10 also and
in fact the entire graphic network should be switch also to !0. If I'm wrong Please correct me

 

After the automatic update of Windows 8 operating system to Windows 8.1 can no longer play Microsoft Solitaire Collection or Microsoft Jigsaw, how can I solve this problem?

 

I get the same error as the original post - graphics driver crashes on Pyramid, playing on a Surface Pro 3 with Windows 10. The graphics driver is definitely up to date, but I notice that it's quite an ancient version (Microsoft appears very slow to update
drivers for Surface Pro). The latest version on the Intel website is far newer. I force-installed this driver (this was quite tricky to do) and that Pyramid game is now playable.

I hope Microsoft will update their graphics drivers more regularly in the future, their premium devices are badly let down by follow-up support

 

Oh great, I thought I was going to have to send in my ProBook to HP, thought the graphics card was starting to act up, it only has issues with Ms Solitaire Collection.

 

I also am encountering the same problem. Have had the problem for over a week. I is time they fixed it.

I continue to have the problem reported in this thread regarding Microsoft Solitaire Pyramid Daily challenge where after the Windows 10 update it consistently freezes with a "Display Driver Has Stopped Responding and Has Recovered". I had the Windows 10
update automatically installed 12/15/15 and ever since that update the MS Pyramid Daily consistently freezes up. As recommended in posts in another forum I went out on 12/17/15 and updated the Display drivers to the most current version and performed a restart.
Now I can progress further into the Pyramid challenge than I could before, but it still freezes with the same display error message and can only be restarted by closing out the entire MS Solitaire Gaming window and reopening. It appears this happens across
multiple hardware platforms and is triggered by the most recent Windows 10 update. What is being done to resolve this bug?

 

I'm also having the same problem this week. Only on Pyramid on the daily challenges.

Does anyone ever get an answer/solution on these forums?

 

I am also having the same problem, but I find it happens across a lot of games that require graphics driver...Pyramid Solitaire as well as Taptiles. I got help from an outside IT Department who helped me find and install updated drivers, all to no avail.
The same error message occurs and I cannot continue playing the game. It would be sooo helpful if Microsoft would address this issue as I am sure there are hundreds of people being affected the same way.

 

Hey, guys! There was an update today to Solitaire that should address several items. Please make sure you go to the Store and update the game. Let us know if you're still having issues after that!

 

The store just says the game is installed. I do not see any way to check for updates.
