Microsoft Solitaire Collection will not log in

    Microsoft Solitaire Collection will not log in


    My Microsoft Solitaire Collection will not log me in. It gives the 117000000 error. I have tried all of the suggestions in FAQ. Windows Update trouble shooter claimed my services file was corrupt. But I have not had any problem with Windows update and
    have all available updates installed. The Windows Update, Background Intelligent Transfer Service and Cryptographic Service are all on automatic. My windows store cash has been reset and I have restarted my Windows 10 computer several times. I have no problem
    with logging into the Windows store, the Microsoft Mahjong application or the Microsoft Jigsaw application. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Solitaire collection application and it still does not work. It worked one day and not the next.
    I have run out of possible solutions from the forum posts and cannot find any options for technical support other that this post option. Any suggestions?

    My Microsoft Solitaire Collection has stopped working

    I am not using Microsoft Solitaire Premium.

    In Microsoft Solitaire Collection there is.

    "Settings" Apps & Features" choose Microsoft Solitaire Collection, Advanced Settings then Reset.

    Logging in to Microsoft Solitaire Collection

    I changed my Microsoft username, and now I cannot log in to Microsoft Solitaire Collection.

    I can log in to XBox live web site with the new info, and it does show my account.

    Solitaire shows error 1170000, but I could not find any info on that code.

    It will not let me enter new user account info, it goes into a loop - log off - can not log on

    Microsoft Solitaire Collection will not log in

    1170000 - Xbox Live couldn't sign you in. Usually this means that there's a current Xbox Live outage, or a Windows Update that didn't install. First check the following website to see if there's a known Xbox Live outage:

    If there's no known outage, try the following:

    1. Check to make sure you're connected to the internet.
    2. Check to see if Xbox Live services are down. This handy website shows the status:

    3. If they are all up, go to
      http://www.xbox.com       and sign in with the same account you sign in to on your computer/tablet.
    4. If everything is okay there, try restarting your computer/tablet with the "restart" option on the power/shutdown menu. Just clicking the off button or turning off your computer/tablet won't work. It needs to be restarted.
    5. If you still can't connect, try running the Windows Update Troubleshooter. We have detailed instructions here if you scroll down, but you can get it here:

    6. Check For Updates & install any mandatory, recommended, or optional updates you might have missed. We have detailed instructions further down this note.
    7. Restart your computer - all those updates need to finish & you need to restart to make sure they all went through.

    Can't login to Xbox Live from Solitaire Collection

    Same problem here. Other Microsoft games like Microsoft Mahjong and Microsoft Sudoku work well. I also have no problem logging into Xbox live directly. The only problem is with Microsoft Solitaire Collection.

    I uninstalled Solitaire Collection and re-installed and run apps.diagcab, but it still will not sign in.

    Make sure you are logged into Solitaire collection with the same microsoft account with which your purchased the premium upgrade.

    In order to save progress in the Solitaire, and other Microsoft Casual Games, Microsoft requires you to log into a Microsoft account. All Microsoft accounts are also Xbox accounts. If you already have a Microsoft account, use that information to log into
    the game. There is a FAQ for the game collection here.
