Microsoft Solitaire Collection, Tap Tiles, Problems for May 1

I don't know whether this will help anyone, but I wasn't able to sign into Microsoft Solitaire by tapping the Solitaire tile, but I can if I open the Xbox app, then chose Solitaire.

But wait - there's more! After rebooting the Surface, the Solitaire Collection tile is still in the Metro screen. When I tap it, it begins loading, and then I'm back in Metro, but the tile is gone. So, upon visiting the Store again, now I can install it.
I'll just have to see if the buggy behavior is still there...

I'm having the same problem but found a way to play it (sort of).

1. Open Solitaire through the 'Microsoft Solitaire Collection' app.

2. Click on the 'Xbox Games' tile on the top-right corner to open it once you are logged on automatically.

3. Keep the 'Xbox Games' app running on half of your monitor. Don't minimise it or it will freeze!

4. You can now play Solitaire games and earn achievements.

Someone better fix this soon!

How to fix error 404017 in Microsoft Solitaire Collection

1. Reset Store
2. Run app troubleshooter
3. Reset the MSC to factory settings and update it
4. Run SFC and DISM
5. Update Windows
6. Reinstall the game

when I play the game the volume goes up and down by itself. it doesn't do that with other apps such as hulu or Netflix as the volume level remains constant in those apps.
