Microsoft Solitaire Collection - Multiple Re-Installs After App Stops Working

Hi Joel,

The first thing I would suggest is to make certain that there aren't any updates that got stuck or blocked. Let's try this first:

1.Press the Windows key

2.Type in Windows Update

3.Under the search bar you see on the right, choose Check for Updates

4.In the Windows Update screen, press the Check Now button

5.Even if it doesn't seem to find any updates, click on View Details

6.Install any updates you see that haven't been installed- including optional ones

7.Restart using the restart option from the shut down menu.

Then, we'll try this as well:

1.Press Windows Key + R

2.In the box, type wsreset.exe and press Enter

3.This will relaunch the Windows Store

4.Hover over the right-hand side to bring up the charm bar

5.Choose Settings

6.Choose App Updates

7.Choose Sync licenses

I've been playing Microsoft Solitaire for a year, then Feb Windows updates stopped me getting to store to update apps. Re-processed windows updates maually, got access to store and updated apps but Microsoft solitaire collection wouldn't start, uninstalled
and re-installed without sucess.

Soliotaire needs fixing

Solitaire collection stopped working (i.e. opens with blue screen solitaire page, then closes) after I installed the following updates on 24 Dec 2015

Update history

Microsoft - Keyboard - Microsoft Hardware USB Keyboard

Successfully installed on 24/12/2015

Microsoft - Pointing Drawing - Microsoft Hardware USB Mouse

Successfully installed on 24/12/2015

Have tried a variety of things - un-install, re-install several times,

- running diagnostic tool and sfc/scannow

Even set up a new user name as a Microsoft account

but NOTHING has worked

After I installed Windows 10 Microsoft Solitaire and Majohng collections did not work. I uninstalled them, following recommendation from support, and now I have not been able to download or re-install them

Same problem here. Other Microsoft games like Microsoft Mahjong and Microsoft Sudoku work well. I also have no problem logging into Xbox live directly. The only problem is with Microsoft Solitaire Collection.

I uninstalled Solitaire Collection and re-installed and run apps.diagcab, but it still will not sign in.
