    I only play the Microsoft Solitaire Collection. Now I am being confronted continuously by an ad for Xbox and unable to log into Microsoft Solitaire Collection automatically with my (long term) saved password. I don't use Xbox. Why am I now being asked to log into Xbox? I am now being offered a free free trial period prior to buying Microsoft 365 which I don't intend to do. Please help. I am elderly and have a limited understanding of this stuff. Can I continue to play the Microsoft Solitaire Collection free of charge with my current login? Please help

    I understand you need help in playing your game.

    I believe this is because most of the games from MS store are actually being installed to the Xbox app and whatever your Microsoft account is, this is also your Xbox account. You just need to log in with the same Microsoft account when being asked. The game is still for free though. No need to pay for anything related with Xbox.

    In Microsoft Solitaire Collection there is.

    "Settings" Apps & Features" choose Microsoft Solitaire Collection, Advanced Settings then Reset.

    Freecell has stopped recording wins but not losses

    Similar Problem on my Windows 8.1 Machine. For a few days Microsoft Solitaire Collection only stops recording stats for FreeCell and Pyramid on the Xbox Network.

    Reinstallation as described in the Microsoft Solitaire Collection FAQ has changed nothing.
