    Microsoft Solitaire Collection infinite levelup glitch


    Hi, I believe I've discovered a glitch in Microsoft Solitaire Collection which allows me to level up approximately once per minute with zero effort.

    I've been playing around with it for a bit, leveled up like 10 times in a few minutes and now I feel kind of depressed as it took away all the pleasure of actually playing the game and leveling up as a result of the invested effort and time.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Install Microsoft Solitaire Collection on both PC and mobile

    2. Open the application on PC an win 3 games of Free Cell (it might work with other game modes as well but I haven't tried that)

    3. After winning 3 games, you will be able to play bonus game which will give you a lot of XP

    4. Win the bonus game on PC

    5. Do not start a new game after winning but rather click on Home

    6. Close the application on PC

    7. Open the application on mobile

    8. Click on Free Cell and then go back to home by clicking Cancel

    9. Now, you will see a Resume button on the top

    10. Clicking on the Resume button will bring you to almost solved bonus game from before

    11. Move the few remaining cards and enjoy your free XP

    12. Do not start a new game after winning but rather click on Home

    13. Close the application on mobile (it might be necessary to kill it completely)

    14. Open the application on PC

    15. Click on Free Cell and then go back to home by clicking Cancel

    16. Once again, you will see a Resume button on the top

    17. Clicking on the Resume button will bring you to almost solved bonus game from before

    ...

    18. Continue switching between your devices as long as you wish and gain free XP

    Microsoft, please, fix this. The knowledge that it's possible to cheat like that has taken away all the fun!

    In Microsoft Solitaire Collection there is.

    "Settings" Apps & Features" choose Microsoft Solitaire Collection, Advanced Settings then Reset.

    Similar Problem on my Windows 8.1 Machine. For a few days Microsoft Solitaire Collection only stops recording stats for FreeCell and Pyramid on the Xbox Network.

    Reinstallation as described in the Microsoft Solitaire Collection FAQ has changed nothing.
