initially loads but after advertising etc, then Blue Screen says "we are having some trouble connecting to internet" ...

Everything was fine early day July11 - on morning of July 12 & every day since, can select which game, statistics are showing correct, updates data, plays advertising video & then displays the blue screen & message

Go to Menu, About (it's at the bottom). It'll open a small panel which gives you the game version - which version are you running?

I believe the latest is 3.11.7081.0 - I know they've put out a few updates over the past week or so, both of which looked like they changed advertising.

Are you able to play normal games without issue (complete them)?

Yes, version 3.11.7081.0

Tried to load 3 of the individual games at top of the MS Collection page under GAMES.

Get a blue screen with the message "Loading" & it doesn't change, doesn't load, just keeps the rotating card display & "Loading" ..... so No, doesn't load the individual games under GAMES either.

Okay thanks for the update. Have you uninstalled and reinstalled the game at all? IF not, are you familiar with that process?

If you've signed into XBox with your account you won't lose any stats or progress.

To uninstall find the icon for the game in your start menu, right click and choose uninstall.

Then go to the Windows Store, search for it, and install it again.

I now have the Premium Solitaire Collection (I did not want Premium, I want the standard) and it sucks. It can not connect to internet to play daily challenges. Why does Microsoft jam changes down our throats?

I’ve had the same problem. Below are the steps I’ve taken to get achievement counters updating again.

1)
Sign out of XBOX live.

2)
Uninstall Microsoft Solitaire Collections. Don’t worry your current stats are stored in the cloud.

3)
Sign into XBOX Live.

4)
Check your achievement stats.

5)
Execute a tool to cleanup system register errors (deep scan required), privacy issues and junk files. ( I use IObit Advance SystemCare 10 Pro which offers a free version ).

6)
Close XBOX Live.

7)
Install Microsoft Solitaire Collection from Windows Store.

8)
Open Microsoft Solitaire Collection and play a game.

9)
Answering Yes or No to next dialog does not seem to matter. Your PC will sync up local data with cloud data.

10)
Select Themes and download themes available.

11)
Open XBOX Live.

12)
If counter for game selected increments, you are good to go.

13)
At this point, if you play another game you’ll all be able to play Daily Challenges by selecting Show Daily Challenges if not shown.

Note: I have not found a way to sync counts in Microsoft Solitaire Collection Statistics with XBOX Live achievements’ stats.
