    Microsoft Solitaire Collection Crashes as soon as the ad starts to run.


    My original Desktop computer OS was Windows 7, I updated it to 8, to 8.1 and finally 10. For each instance Microsoft Solitaire Collection ran well. I was having some OS 10 issues (with not being able to wake my computer from sleep and slow response
    overall) and decided to do a "PC Reset" to do an almost clean install of Windows 10. Afterwards, Microsoft Solitaire would load just fine and I was able to select daily challenges and then click on a challenge. The ad screen would open up (the window was
    all black) and would exit within a couple of seconds. The Solitaire screen would also be gone. I tried all of the fixes I could locate, including the troubleshooter and running "sfc /scannow", uninstalling and re-installing the collection. No errors were
    detected and the problem persisted.

    As part of my troubleshooting, I decided to purchase a one month premium edition and now that ads are not running, the program works seamlessly.

    Please let me know what other steps I should take to resolve this issue, if possible.

    Microsoft Solitaire Collection crashes after Ads

    Using Windows 10. Microsoft Solitaire Collection crashes after Ads!

    I have noticed that some of Microsoft ads for there own games don't create this crash. Mostly the ads for cars women's hygiene products etc. causes it to crash. Weird! At the end of the ad the window pauses for a few seconds and then CRASH!

    I have repaired and reinstalled the app. I've also rune the hardware troubleshooter as well as other troubleshooters to no avail.

    Microsoft Solitaire Collection Windows 10

    For about a week I have had problems where the Microsoft solitaire collection crashes to the desktop when an ad starts to load, I have tried uninstalling the game and clearing the store cache before reinstalling with no avail.

    I have the same problem!

    If I run into a problem during the daily challenge and a second commercial runs before I am finished, the Win 10 Solitaire collection window, all too often, CRASHES and CLOSES on me!

    June 13, 2018 was the most recent time this happened. The dairy queen commercial ran before I had finished, the window grayed out, a "waiting/buffering" small rotating blue circle appeared, then the window CLOSED!

    When I re-opened the ms solitaire collection, ANOTHER advertisement ran, stuttering/freezing while it played. It did NOT finish before I was allowed to play the Klondike solitaire for the day. I finished that in less than two minutes, then ANOTHER ADVERTISEMENT
    played before I was allowed to play freecell, the last of the day's challenges! ( I had finished Pyramid, Tri-peaks, and Spider BEFORE the window CRASHED!)

    Another comment. Microsoft seems to have added a 1/2 to one second delay between playing games in the solitaire collection, presumably to push their small ads.

    Can't play the game as ads keep repeating....

    The Solitaire Collection ran just fine yesterday. It showed the ad, you viewed the ad, then used the "X" in the top right corner, which brought you back to the solitaire game you were trying to play. Today, after the ad runs, it automatically takes you
    to the Microsoft store. When you exit the store it brings you back to the solitaire game but runs another ad, then brings you to the Microsoft store. This happens repeatedly and you can't get past the ad to play the game. I'm wondering if the free version
    of these games is going to not longer be available, or if MS is planning to fix this issue.
