Microsoft Solitaire Collection - BIZARRE problem

I have 2 touch screen HP laptops, Windows 10, and BOTH will not allow me to play Klondike, Spider, Free Cell with the touch screen throughout all the game options. Pyramid and TriPeaks work fine. Since this problem is on BOTH laptops, is it possible something
is wrong with my account? And, do you know if anyone else has experienced this problem? VERY BIZARRE.

I did contact solitaire support and followed the instructions below. It did not fix the problem.

. Open the Microsoft Store app on your device

a. Check for updates. These can be found by clicking the ellipsis (…) in the top right hand corner, get updates, then update all.

b. Verify that you are signed in. You can see this by clicking on your profile right beside the ellipsis (…).

2. Check Xbox Live Status. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status.
Ensure all services are ‘normal’.

3. Open the Xbox Console Companion App on your device. Ensure you are signed in via the app with the same account as Microsoft Store.

a. If not, sign in.

b. If so, sign out and back in. (click the settings wheel on the left hand side to see the ‘sign out’ option)

4. Restart your device from the power menu. Restart is different than shut down.

5. Relaunch game.

Thanks Brad. Facebook no longer accepts messages re: technical issues with the game and sends you a link to get support. I sent 4 emails from Wednesday to Friday...no response until Friday. After I posted this problem here, I realized that I had to finally
'speak' with a WIndows specialist who could 'take over' my computer screen. Nestor, the rep, solved the problem in a few minutes.

It appears that the problem was in the SETTINGS of the game itself. On Wednesday, when I changed levels of play to GRANDMASTER, it appeared that it
'automatically' changed the way you play and unchecked the 'touch screen' option so it would be harder to play!! There was no message to let me know that the settings had changed.

support sitefor the casual games you can look over also.

Similar Problem on my Windows 8.1 Machine. For a few days Microsoft Solitaire Collection only stops recording stats for FreeCell and Pyramid on the Xbox Network.

Reinstallation as described in the Microsoft Solitaire Collection FAQ has changed nothing.

Microsoft Solitaire Collection Version is 2.3.1406.1149

Same problem here. Other Microsoft games like Microsoft Mahjong and Microsoft Sudoku work well. I also have no problem logging into Xbox live directly. The only problem is with Microsoft Solitaire Collection.

I uninstalled Solitaire Collection and re-installed and run apps.diagcab, but it still will not sign in.

I am not using Microsoft Solitaire Premium.

In Microsoft Solitaire Collection there is.

"Settings" Apps & Features" choose Microsoft Solitaire Collection, Advanced Settings then Reset.
