Microsoft Sign-in blocked, can't recover account

I have purchased a copy of Halo Master Chief Collection for PC and I am trying to log in to my Microsoft account so I can play the game I paid money for. My Microsoft login is being blocked for the following reason:

"Sign-in with dhmolson is blocked for one of the following reasons:
-Someone entered the wrong password too many times"

I am logged into my account in my web browser and am able to log in just fine, so I don't understand why Halo is any different. I have reset my password, but still get the exact same error when trying to log into Halo. I am unable to use the account recovery feature because I have multi-factor authentication on my account. I have access to the authenticator app that I use and can get the authentication codes. I can provide anything necessary to prove my identity. I just want to play the game that I PAID MONEY FOR.

What caused your account to be blocked?

If it was an enforcement action because you violated the Microsoft Terms of Use or Xbox Community Guidelines, then you need to get in contact with the Enforcement team via

I tried this too and haven't been able to recover the file, same error message. :/

Worth mentioning is my BF recovered my file again recently just to test if it works on his end, and it works. And yet again, I can sign onto his profile but I can't recover nor sign in to my own...

I am starting to think this is on Microsoft's end and I wish someone could check my account to see if there's a hiccup somewhere in the system, preventing me from recovering it to my xbox. Maybe it even got blocked or banned because of having tried to fix
this issue for so long now
