    Hello,

    I have an old microsoft sidewinder joystick (part no. x08-59073) and I was planning to get microsoft flight simulator 2020 when it comes out. Can anyone tell me if this joystick will still work with the newer flight simulators?

    No, I have one myself and that is how I got on this forum. It is not mapped for Sim 2020. I tried to map it myself but failed miserably. I am hoping to find a download for the mapping. It is still a god stick and have had it like 20 years or more.
    I guess I will have to buy another one if I cant make it work .

    I will be giving my Sidewider a go with 2020. It still works with the latest version of X-Plane and of course FSX.

    Not that I've found. Windows sees it OK. Flight sim recognises it but then de nada.
