    Microsoft should allow Xbox users to change the birthdates on our accounts.


    When I was first creating my Xbox Live Account, I had put on the incorrect birth date and my friends were talking about the Insider Hub, so I asked "How can I get into the Insider Hub?" and they told me to go to the Marketplace and purchase the Xbox Insider
    Hub App. I tried getting in the Insider Hub and it kept telling me, "Sorry, you need to be at least 18 to join the Xbox Insider program". So I tried to change my name for half an hour and it still does not work. I looked on GameFAQs and there was a forum post
    saying that Microsoft did not implement a feature to allow people to change birthdates. I was so upset to find that I am not able to change my birthdate on my Xbox Live account. If anyone has found a way to actually be able to change a birthdate or if they
    add an update to the system, please tell me.

    The age on your Xbox account is permanent. Should you update your birthdate via Microsoft.xbox.com it will not change the birthdate on your Xbox account.

    There is no way to change your birthdate.

    You will have to wait until you/your account is the correct age before you can apply for the insider program.

    While you may be able to change the birthdate shown on your Microsoft account profile, the Xbox account birthdate cannot be changed. The date that was entered when the account was created will always be the birthdate of the Xbox account. The Xbox account birthdate cannot be changed.

    Changing your Microsoft account birthdate does not change your Xbox profile birthdate. You could have changed your Microsoft account birthdate, but your Xbox profile still has a child birthdate.

    If you are completely sure that you never changed your Microsoft account birthdate and it is an adult account now (which would make your Xbox profile be an adult profile too), then please check if there are other members on your family group:
