Microsoft service center stole parts of xbox controller?

    Hello,

I'm quite infuriated by Microsoft with my current situation. I recently had issues with my Xbox elite controller 2. The left bumper stopped working and the stick drift was getting worse and worse. So I decided to get the controller repaired under the 1-year warranty. I sent it to the Microsoft repair center as directed on the website.

I thought my controller would be repaired or replaced as they said they would do. Instead, I received my controller with both joysticks missing and the d-pad missing too. They literally stole parts from my controller and sent it back. Now my warranty is up and I have a non-functioning controller with missing parts.

What kind of service is this? How can you treat customers like this?

How do I get in contact with someone who can actually resolve this issue.

    Sincerely,

    Mad Matt

    :)

Thanks for that answer...that still doesn't fix the controller. It is still broken AND has missing parts now. I don't remember seeing anything about not fixing the controller when I sent it. Xbox support doesn't even have a number to call.

You can try contacting support, but when you send controllers in for service, it does states to only send the controller and no removable parts as they are not guaranteed to be returned. http://support.xbox.com/contact-us

Why is it that an XBox Series S /X SSD CANNOT be replaced?

The SSD like all other the parts can only be serviced at an authorized Microsoft service center

We cannot assist in self repair

    Xbox one X replacement parts.

You can't officially buy parts for the console, as Microsoft doesn't distribute them to end-user stores. Only certified repair centers can order replacement parts.

There are no user serviceable or user replaceable parts that Microsoft intended for the customer to replace.

You will therefore have to find sources for these parts yourself, or have Microsoft officially service your console.
