Microsoft sent me a SECOND HAND XBONE

You may not like it, but my suggestion? Try again. It's not likely something of this nature would happen twice in a row to the same person.

 

As in send it off again ? But there is now nothing wrong with it, they will just send it back.

 

Wait... I thought there was. If there's nothing wrong with it, then why are you upset? Because it's 2nd hand? If it works like new then that shouldn't even be an issue... Also, from the moment you opened the box & turned it on, yours became used or "2nd
hand" as you put it.

 

Not taking sides here but ive never had a problem with "refurbished".......it usually means they paid more attention to it ....anyway heres what you alread agreed to .....

Exactly, it's not meant to come off. Well whatever it is, the plastic bit on the power button side, now clicks when i press the power button,

 

If it is actually broken, tell them that and ask for a replacement....

 

They said this type of fault is due to the transportation and that the console is fully functional and there is nothing they can do..

when I asked for some free games like Ryse or Forza 5 they said.. they are not able to do this as a special team is working on it so I can get those games.. um wtf ? So I got Killer instinct, Xbox fitness and an avatar shirt..

you sound greedy.... asking for games. and then they give you games (KI and fitness) yet its not good enough. It sucks that your first console did not work, and i feel you about the new one being 'damaged'... but I'd push to get it replaced if thats such
a big deal to you and not ask for freebies.

 

I've been messed about from Launch day, It's not my fault I got a console from the start.

Asking for freebies seems damn appropriate. a couple of AAA titles

 

Again, that's why I see you as a greedy person... I don't think AAA titles is appropriate considering you are activating a warranty you agreed to when you purchased the console, none of which states you will be compensated with extra stuff, so the three
things they did give you are generous enough. I'm not saying it doesn't suck that you had a defective console, but they are filling their end of the agreement and then some.

 

Did I not hear correctly at the start of this Disc Drive dilemma, they were giving a choice of a free launch title to people who had to get their consoles replaces.

Did this have some kind of limited time offer ?? -.-

 

Polygon reported that indeed they were offering one game off of a specific list as a digital download for the affected of the disc drive errors but no specifics on time limit or availability was specified. I'm just speaking within the warranty terms that
you agreed to upon purchasing the item. If you want more information on the 'free game' I'd suggest you ask Microsoft
