Microsoft selling Windows 10 version for PC yet its no longer supported, how to return it?

HI all, Need a little clarification... I own Minecraft Java Edition. I own 4 desktop computers in my house, 2 of them will load this version, 2 will not. I get an error msg of GLFW Error 65542 Driver Does not support OpenGL message. I tried many different
fixes I found on the internet but the game still couldn't be downloaded so I went to Mojang website to buy the Minecraft Windows Edition not realizing that Microsoft was the new owners and of course I got rerouted to Minecraft.net and then rerouted to Microsoft
to purchase the game. The computer I want to download the game to has Windows 10. It's my daughter's computer, she doesn't want to share her sister's computer where the Java Edition of the game runs. She wants to be able to play multiplayer with her friends
who have Minecraft Java Edition. So this I thought was the perfect alternative. No where on Minecraft.net or Microsoft was I made aware that the PC version would no longer be supported after October 2020 and that all multiplayer functions would stop once
other players games were updated BEFORE I purchased this version. It wasn't until after I bought the game and downloaded it did a pop up screen appear : "This Device is no longer supported". Above a picture what looks to be a sunset in the Minecraft game.
Then it says, "Our ability to support this graphics device is coming to an end. You will continue to receive updates until the fall, whereupon you will receive your final update for this device. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience. After you receive
the final update, you will still be able to play on your worlds and access Marketplace purchases (including Minecoins). Realms managed from this device will continue to work unless they are updated by the Realm owner on a different device. You will no longer
receive the latest updates, and will be unable to play multiplayer with devices or Realms which are continuing to receive updates. You will also not be able to connect to certain servers." So basically I bought a game that must be played alone or is just
a digital brick to me as it defeats the entire purpose of buying the game in the first place. If I can't play multiplayer, I don't want it. Oh! But my problem gets better because when I ask for a refund I am told I can't have one because I have already downloaded
the game. I had to download the game to find out that it wasn't supported anymore because Microsoft's deceptive trade practices tried to hide it from me. So does anyone have any ideas on how I can get my money back or how to resolve my issue? I uninstalled
the game but of course because I had "downloaded it or consumed it already" it's not returnable.
