Microsoft scammed me and game sharing partner

me and a close friend of mine game share and we split the prices for all the digital games and content we purchase

Well we recently purchased destiny 2 digital deluxe edition we spilt the $100 payment and my friend got all the dlc.. the season pass and the pre-order bonuses content and I only got the base game.

I feel like me and everyone else who has game share are being scammed into having to buy the content even though the other party has the content

I paid $50 out of a $100 version of a game and I got only 1/3 of the content this is far from right and this isn't the 1st time its happened either and I'm sure it won't be the last either

Your probly right but I think it's Microsoft that scammed me on this one, Microsoft is a money greedy company the games was legit working fine until Microsoft took my games away from me.

The same thing would happen if you purchased a disc game or purchased the game anywhere else. The bonuses will only work for the account that actually purchases the game. It's not really them scamming you, it's a bonus for purchasing a game for that reason.

 

Although not explicitly stated, that's not how the home-xbox feature is supposed to be used. It is meant to share games within a household.

So basically, you're not getting scammed as you are not the rightful owner of the season pass and the pre-order bonuses.

So don't complain about it

 

have you checked in left over add ons?settings>system>storage, my friend bought ours and mine are in there i dont think they unlock till the game drops mate,hope this helps

 

Gamesharing is only for a household. Not to share with friends...
