Microsoft rewards points

I recently updated my xbox live gold on my 360 with a 12 month subscription, i however did not receive the 3000 Microsoft points i should get through the Microsoft rewards program. Is their anyway i can get those or is their some type of waiting period for
the points?

MyVIP Gems to Microsoft Rewards Points

From the Microsoft Rewards Migration FAQ: "any unredeemed MyVIP Gems will be converted to Microsoft Rewards points and can be used to redeem rewards from the Microsoft Rewards catalog once your membership is transitioned. One MyVIP Gem will
convert to one Microsoft Rewards point".

 

Will VIP gems be monetized if they are not redeemed by the time the program closes?

Typically, when you renew your subscription, you don't get the points in your Rewards account until the new subscription actually starts, not when you pay for it or redeem the code. If you're sure that you are already on the new 12 month subscription, then
you should contact Xbox Live Rewards support via twitter
@XboxLiveRewards or via their support forum as they handle their own support.

 

Also be advised that you are not due 3000 Microsoft points. You are due 3000 rewards credits, which translates to $3

 

Can i call about the Microsoft rewards instead of using the forum? I'm not real good with computers and i cant figure out how to use the support forum. I actually had to call and have somone walk me though on how to use this :/

 

As far as I know, Rewards support hasn't posted a phone number. The only options are Twitter or the Support Forums.
