Microsoft Rewards Points query.

Hello guys, hopefully a simple issue here, I don't even know if it is an issue, but I'll ask anyway.

So obviously today was the release of Fallout 76, and I have had the preordered since the 1st of September, and if I remember correctly, I'm pretty sure I'm not wrong, I didn't receive any Microsoft rewards points at the time, which I thought was fair since
the game wasn't released and I hadn't paid anything.

But now the game has released and I paid for it last week, I was wondering when I will receive the Microsoft rewards points for it? £80 is worth a nice few points haha. I don't know if this is something you've been asked before but I could be wrong, but
I really can't find a way to check, so I thought I'd ask, thank you for any help.

5 star VIP rating disappeared..!

I was looking to write a support ticket to query if I'm receiving the correct amount of Microsoft points to coincide with my purchases over the last month or so, on logging in to 'My Rewards' today I find I've lost my 5 star VIP rank and all records of previous
points and whatnot. Something is definitely amiss. My rewards for February seemed to only reflect 'MyMissions' and not the purchases with the 10% rebate I was expecting. So is this a problem that's affecting only myself or is it a larger scale problem affecting
everyone?

 

Hi bud sorry to hear this and ye it's a few points. you will probably be better to contact Microsoft support for this. Hope you get points soon.

No problem bud just email them it's probably the best way and would save on the phone bill would probably cost more than your points are worth.

You should have received 6666.

In the past when I bought an £80 Game around £14.50 is TAX and you don't get points for it.

Hopefully XboxSupport can see if you got them.

 

Your best bet is to contact Microsoft Support, Xbox Ambassador's won't be able to help much. Actually, you must be credited the reward points the day you were charged for the pre-order, so it is already quite long.

If you go to https://account.microsoft.com/rewards/ then scroll all the way to the bottom there's a link that states Contact Microsoft Rewards Support. It will have you fill out a form to assist with your issue. Typically they get back to you within 24 hours.
Both times I've reached out to them I got a response, and a resolution, the same day.

Make sure you have made your purchases on the online Microsoft Store.

You must be also be signed in with your email address associated with your Microsoft Rewards account.

Points are awarded within 72 hours of a digital store purchase completion or shipment, or within 14 days of purchase at a retail Microsoft Store or shipment from the online Microsoft Store.

Certain items do not qualify, such as the purchase of in-game consumables, Xbox Live Gold memberships, subscriptions like Xbox Game Pass or EA Access, Microsoft Movies & TV Season Passes, and the purchase of Xbox gift cards.
